My wife and I were on an overnight weekend visit to Kingston and chose Copper Leaf as the place for our evening meal based upon the positive comments on TripAdvisor and the interesting looking menu.

This is just to tell anyone else thinking of eating here that it ticked all our boxes: we were warmly greeted, the layout and design of the place is really very pleasant, service was efficient and friendly and the interesting menu was prepared by a kitchen that clearly knows what it?s doing.

We ate here for our son’s birthday treat, which we didn’t tell the restaurant, but they sussed it and sang happy birthday with a special birthday pudding plate!

The food was really delicious and even a vegan in the family was well catered for.

And the staff gave her a vegan version of the ‘amuse bouche’ without even asking.

Very impressive waiting staff.

We will happily come here again.
